"I was staying as my wife was in hospital so my criteria for finding a place to stay were cheap, available and close to the hospital, the Silverton Inn was all these so I booked it. I'm really glad I did, admittedly I wasn't really in the mood for socialising but if I was, there would have been ample opportunity but I was feeling pretty insular and that was ok too, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the place was easy to find, the rooms had everything you need. I ended up staying 2 nights...

"Nice village pub. The ale was excellent. Pretty small room with tiny bathroom. Overall enjoyed our stay. We ate at the pub and the food and choice was pretty good. The fish pie was a little dissapointing, didnt see a prawn, and no smoked haddock to give flavour. Some nice walks by the river. Unfortunately didnt have time for the long walk to the coast and Ladram bay. A pity there was not close parking to do that."

"Lovely hotel and lovely, welcoming staff, great value for money with an indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi. A little dated but this added to the charm. Only negative was that the beds were too hard. Amazing location and gorgeous views. Would definitely go back. "

"A charming little B&B above a biker cafe. Comfortable rooms with all the facilities you need. The owners and cafe staff were welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make the stay as fantastic as possible. A great place to use as a base from which to explore Devon. We will e returning."
