"Beautiful hotel in Évora. Quiet and peaceful. Easy walking to everywhere. It was not hot when we were there so the courtyard was perfect for sitting and enjoying a cocktail. I imagine in the heat of central Portugal in the summer, would be nice to have a pool. "

"On our trip to Portugal this was the best property, service and food we had. The beds were very comfortable, large rooms, an electronic bidet toilet (loved it). The breakfast buffet was also the best of all of the properties we stayed at during the trip. We had our dinner at the on property restaurant - we would strongly recommend! The weather was on the cool side, so we did not try the pool, but did enjoy the sunshine. There is a 1000 year old olive tree on the property. Staff were excellent and great services. "

"Portugal and it's people are gentle and kind. We have visited many times and love it north to south. Tucked away at the end of a bumpy dirt road is a real gem. Only 7 rooms - ours even had a wood burning stove (yes it did). More oranges than you could eat in a lifetime and so quiet at night you can hear them grow. This location is worthy of your time and is a great value if slow and easy is your mission. Go with the flow here - take a walk - eat an orange - meet a burro - say hello to your partner. We did enjoy ourselves..."
