Pictures of the deck and grill were deceiving since they are not easily accessible from rental unit (walk on steep sloped lawn with no walkway, climb stairs and located right outside of owners living room). Smoke from upstairs drifted into downstairs rental unit. I closed all the ceiling vents and it helped. My fault for not checking that there was no dishwasher. Be aware of excess fees in total price."

In addition, the cabin was completely cozy and easily accessible. Although the separate shower/bathroom was a mild inconvenience, it did not detract from the overall experience. The babbling brook behind the cabin was very refreshing and soothing. This is a great hidden find."

"This was our second time staying here. We totally enjoyed the scenery in spring and again, in winter. Surrounded by pines and a variety of mature trees with a beautiful pond, we enjoyed the privacy as well as the hot tub and wood cackling in the fireplace! The house is very comfortable with antique country style decor and finishes as well as the fully stocked kitchen and very comfy bed. Very clean and a genuine log home! We look forward to enjoying the house in fall! We highly recommend! "
