"Access to the ocean and hiking was fantastic!"

"We loved our stay! The property grounds are beautiful and meticulously kept, our rooms were clean and modern, the Splash Water Park was fun for both our 5 year old son and for the adults, the pools were clean and great for swimming with our son, the beach was clean and beautiful, and the food was AMAZING!! The breakfast buffet was fresh and had so much variety and was SO tasty, and all the restaurants were fantastic in their multi-course meals in taste, quality, quantity, and presentation. The cafe "Capuchino" was AMAZING and had the best desserts and Baileys Iced Coffees. The cocktails at the bar across from the "Capuchino" cafe was SO great at making cocktails! We loved every one! The staff was always so kind and caring and helpful, and we loved interacting with them everyday. The ocean was always at a yellow flag while we were there, so it wasn't safe enough for our 5 year old son to swim in due to strong waves, but for adults, it was great and actually warm! What a great Pacific Ocean beach! The selection of shops in the little street between the two resorts was delightful, and we found wonderful souvenirs in the shops. Overall, we HIGHLY recommend this all-inclusive! This was our second time there (with the first being in 2010 to the neighbour property RIU Guanacaste All-Inclusive), and we are so glad we went back now with our son and definitely want to go back again! Thank you so much for our wonderful week in Costa Rica! "

"Bosque Del Mar is a beautifully landscaped property. It was lovely to be right on the beach. The bedroom of our suite near the pool included a window wall from which we saw beautiful trees and plants. We felt like we were in the jungle as we walked around the property. The food was excellent and the restaurant has great views. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the small size of the hotel made for a serene and relaxing experience"

"Everything was great inside The Palms hotel. It’s when you go outside and walk to the beach to the left side of the hotel and you find a lot of graffiti and trash around the area. There’s a soccer field right in front and people going to the beach park there so that’s probably why. Also there’s some homeless people that hang out there by the skate park making it feel a little sketchy. Wouldn’t recommend going through this street at night due to it being very dark with lack of lighting. "

"Location was the best. Walk to the beach in 3 minutes. Coffee Cafe, restaurants bars, live music, and a grocery store all around the hotel. The pool was surrounded by beautiful trees and plants making it feel tropical. The property was gated and fenced making us feel very safe. Our room was cleaned each day. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked great, we slept good. We viewed other properties in the area for a future trip this fall. We will be staying at hotel Mar Rey! "We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Wyndham Tamarindo. The staff were friendly and beyond helpful! The rooms were clean and the view was stunning. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, we enjoyed the pool, and the hourly shuttle made getting to and from downtown so quick and easy!! Highly recommend staying here! We would come back in a heartbeat!"
