"The standard of accommodation was excellent as was the communication with the host. Location within a reasonable distance from the airport is a plus.....but a challenging location for shopping for supplies without access to a motor vehicle as is a long steep driveway to access the property. We were surprised that there was no free to air television coverage which was not disclosed at time of booking. Overall, we would book again for our needs, but issues highlighted will surprise and disappoint...

"Probably more suited to younger guests, we are 75 & 79,but we coped OK. the setting is very nice and we made friends with the resident Kereru's. We felt it has probably been a much loved family holiday place in the past but maybe the family have grown and moved.All and all we enjoyed our stay, the weather could have been kinder, only one swim, but that is not your fault."

"A nice tidy little spot to rest our heads for a night. A dining table with a few chairs would be a great addition. Traffic noise was quite noticeable but being close to the motorway made it easy for the next leg of our journey."

The location & privacy you have was what we wanted & it was just an overall awesome experience to have stayed here. The pool & sea views 😍 so spacious & clean. Self check in & check out was prompt & straightforward. The owner & cleaners were very cool with us checking out an hour late. "Very happy with our stay. Room was as per website, comfy bed, convenient to CBD and served its purpose. The only thing was having to leave our keys in the room when departing (as instructed) which we couldn't as you need the swipe key to get down lift and through all doors. So we left it in the lockbox we got it out of at the dront entrance. Thinks this needs addressing. "
