"We had the unfortunate need to evacuate out of the way of Hurricane Milton at the last minute. We wish we had visited under better circumstances, because the property is beautiful right on the lake. The house it self was very lovely, nicely renovated and equipped with all we needed. The best part was however the owners in the house next door. So thoughtful and kind, making sure we were ok during this stressful time. Highly recommend this place! There is a Winn-Dixie nearby for convenience. "

"Anyone interested in gutting their house and completely remodeling it with a contemporary layout, expensive kitchen, and comfortable living room should rent this house and take notes. Although the pictures are intriguing, it’s hard to fully appreciate this property without laying eyes on it. Our family enjoyed coffee on the dock in the morning, beautiful sunsets over the lake, cooking meals together, playing games, and being in close proximity to the quaint town of Lake Placid. "How sweet it is! Rolled out of bed into my bass boat afloat in backyard Boat House. Accommodations were super and very comfortable at the end of the day of fishing the Big O. Very peaceful sitting on back porch in evenings looking out over canal while sipping a cold one. Coming back next year. "

"This was a great place for me, my wife, and two girls. It was exactly what we were looking for within a few hours of home. My daughter enjoyed the heated pool, the nature, and tree swing off of back porch. Me and my wife loved the secluded, quiet, off the beaten path property.
