Anna is the host and is the loveliest person. She had baked us xakes for our arrival and supplied us with extra beach towels when needed. The friendliness of the man who checked us in and the accommodation of an earlier check-in. The water pressure in the shower and the inability for it to get truly hot are our only real concerns. Very close to the seaside, 5 minutes to Plaza Madeira, big shopping center where you can get all you need. Ana is very responsive to any queries and helpful. "The villa is clean and tidy. Beds are very comfortable. There is everything you could need and Maria provides things like washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. Couldn't fault it. Only possible negative deoending on what you want is the outdoor space is next to a busy weekday road. That said you have buses to the town centre close by. Easy walk down hill to Funchal. 5 mins to local supermarket and a local bar that does lovely food, great pizza restaurant within walking distance too. We would...
