"The cabin was much bigger than I expected, and it was very clean and well decorated. Host provided nice extras, like coffee and condiments., use of a grill. Weather was the pits, so we couldn’t take advantage of the pond, where we had hoped to paddle around and float on inner tubes. Only bad thing was the driveway, which was only half graveled, so we immediately got stuck in the mud. Host pulled us out with his tractor and was very helpful, but the whole drive should have been graveled for...

"We had a lovely time at Hemlock Haven! We spent several days mining for Herkimer diamonds and the cabin was an excellent place to relax after spending the day outside. It is fairly quiet, cozy, and pretty easy to drive to. The hosts had a few extra touches to make it even more welcoming. Definitely recommend for a little R&R!!"

"My husband and I enjoyed staying in this cabin. It's cute, clean, cozy and quiet. It was about 30 min from Cooperstown Dreams Park and past all of the people and tourists. Has everything you need (although a teeny tiny shower) and very calming!"

"My cousin and i enjoyed our stay. Very clean, comfortable beds, very well stocked kitchen. The front stairs were quite daunting! Getting to the front door with our bags took great effort. It did not diminish our enjoyment of the space but i would caution seniors (like us!) And anyone else with mobility or balance issues."

"Beautifully updated room, clean and very spacious (2 queen beds). Great view of the lake; quiet and peaceful. Lots of room for outdooor activities, if you'd like to bring your own "toys" (cornhole, etc.). Disappointed at how slippery both the indoor and outdoor pool decks are, plus the outdoor pool steps. Saw two children slip and fall in the short time we were there (they were not running!). That being said, we'd definitely come back again, and this time allow for more time spent at the lake (we were there mainly to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame)."
