"We stayed at this VRBO during a Hockey Tournament in Calumet. It was clean and plenty of room for a family of 4. The kitchen had everything we needed and there is a little store a short walk away. "We enjoyed our stay at the Hancock house. We were visiting our daughter at Michigan Tech and this property was about 5-10 minutes away. House is older but was great for a weekend family trip. Kitchen had all you would need plus lots of spices if you wanted to cook. Beds were comfy. It was across the street from a snowmobile trail but the noise did not bother us in the house. "This was our second stay and we are already looking at our calendars for this coming fall and next winter for return trip! Home is set up perfectly for privacy but also for lounging together by fireplace, playing games in the kitchen/dining area, cooking and baking together! The cleaning crew had a few short hours to turn over the whole house between guests and they did a fantastic job! Can't wait to return!"

"This home and location were perfect for our group! There were two couples and three singles (as well as a 6 month old) in our group. "The house was just what we needed for our visit to MTU. It was clean and roomy…While there we got a bit of snow overnight, the roads were plowed the next morning. We had lots of fun on our long weekend. Thanks for sharing your house with us!"

"All the cozy vibes while visiting our MTU students for winter carnival weekend! Everything we needed to spread out, visit together, and enjoy our time. Many games of chess were played. Jacuzzi got a lot of use. Our college students enjoyed hiking in the snow & found some surprise igloos. Plenty of vintage books & decor add to the charm! Thanks for a great weekend."

"We stayed here for my Son's state's Hockey tournament. It was a great house with lots of open spaces for ease of movement to cook and talk. The view was spectacular and it was so much fun to watch the snow storm role in. This house is atop a steep hill so thank goodness my husband had a truck to make sure we could go up and down with the snowfall. The roads got plowed everyday before we left and it was fine. There are no TVs so we had fun playing some card games we brought!"
