"The Motel itself and staff were excellent. The room was really clean and comfortable for the two of us. Pool and hot tub were great. The shower was fab! A little bit of noise in the mornings from the road but nothing much to worry about. Easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and pier. Side note- was nothing to do with the motel and they have complained about it but one of the nights there was a group of youths on the beach with their cars and loud music which went on till 4/5am....

"Friendly and helpful staff. Good location facing the beach, easily walkable to Paihia town and wharf, also Whitangi Treaty Grounds. On the downside, some noise from the petrol station adjacent to the property. The room was well-equipped, and daily room servicing was excellent. However, the room fixtures and fittings e.g. wooden tables, chairs, kitchen units, bathroom sink, shower unit are showing their age, scuffed and looking well-worn.
