"After spending the last 20 years coming to The VDL with my husband, this was my first solo trip since losing him, so a big step! But, I feel SO very lucky to have stumbled across this little villa whilst I was searching. Its exactly in the location I wanted - a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and is the perfect size for a solo visit or couple. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay with beautiful views. The only downside for me, was I couldn't get any UK...

"While this is a good location, the property and manager were incredibly disappointing. When we arrived, the lockbox was not labeled with the code given by the manager. Eventually, we found it, but the key was NOT in the lockbox. The manager did not answer his phone. Someone else who had a property found the key for us. There was NO wifi. We tried several times to contact the manager, but he never fixed this. The water went out the first day, so we could not take a shower. The property said it...

"Nice villa with easy access to everything. Short drive to Carvoeiro if you need a little more pace. A few fantastic beaches are within range. We visited in Oct. and there were a lot of flies in and around the home but the home and pool were in great shape. The host is accessible and responds quickly. A very pleasant stay."

The property is a really good size and it was a bonus having a lovely private pool in the garden, It is within walking distance of the beach, super market and lots of restaurants and bars. "Fabulous town house with 3 floors. Bedrooms on the lower floor & 2 bathrooms. Up the stairs to a lovely open plan kitchen/diner which was really well equipped. The upper floor was a lovely roof terrace with stunning views out to the beach. We had 3 kids with us, 12, 10 & 8. 2 flights of stairs in the place so might be a bit much for small kids or people with mobility issues. Excellent location, only 3 min walk to the square. We had a fabulous time here. Elite rentals were excellent to deal with"

"We had a fantastic stay at Sonias lovely abode. She was a very welcoming host. My children enjoyed the lovely pool and is a beautiful villa. Bigger and much nicer than I had expected ❤️ Perfect for the 3 nights we stayed and plenty to do nearby but you would need a car to get anywhere!"
