"I didn’t realize that the property was far from the strip. Expedia said 18 min walk but the walk is down many streets. There are no restaurants nearby, we had to hop in the car to get anywhere. It was a close drive to carvoeiro downtown and a good location to do hiking but everything must be accessed with a car. "Lovely apartment on a great complex, apartment had everything we needed and was very spacious and clean. Pool area is great nice and quiet and the views of the sea from there are lovely. Little shop and cafe onsite next to the pool which was great and the food was really nice and I can recommend their sangria. Not far from the beach and the old town. "This was my 1st solo trip to Albufeira, but a familiar area as I've stayed at Santa Eulalia many times now. I wasn't expecting the apartment to do be so big as I was staying alone, but it was large enough to sleep 4 people. All rooms were spacious. The sofa bed in the living room did look quite worn, so could do with replacing. The kitchen had all the facilities needed including an oven, stove top, microwave and washing machine.
