"The place was nice and quiet, staff were lovely, breakfast was very good, bed was really comfortable, fan in the room was nice. Only a couple of slight negatives. The room was a little dusty on some of the surfaces and a couple of the walls could do with dusting too. Also there looks to be a coffee stain on the wall, and also the shower flow was weak. These things didn't take away from the enjoyment of my stay however. I had a lovely stay and i would stay here again."

"Great stay at the Black Hat, minor miss hap with the phone system meant i could not get in touch to find the parking. i believe its option 4 to get through the property. staff were lovely and welcoming, Jonelle (sorry if I have spelt that wrong) the house keeper was amazing and helped with my bags! "Wonderful old pub. The staff was very friendly. I hung out at the pub for trivia night. Great food and beer and quiet rooms. Rooms are across the street from the pub so noise not a problem."

"Was a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a nice location, I do like the kings inn hotels but admittedly the bathroom wasn’t very clean nor modern and it did smell a little, but it was still good for the price we paid to stay there. The bed was comfortable and we had a sleep without any disturbances. Also breakfast was nice, and the bar maids were very nice and it was very calm and chilled to sit and have a drink in the evening. "
