"Perfect place to stay in the lovely town of Holmfirth"

"Was a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a nice location, I do like the kings inn hotels but admittedly the bathroom wasn’t very clean nor modern and it did smell a little, but it was still good for the price we paid to stay there. The bed was comfortable and we had a sleep without any disturbances. Also breakfast was nice, and the bar maids were very nice and it was very calm and chilled to sit and have a drink in the evening. "

"We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively). Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well. En suite was well laid out and tastefully decorated. A few hangers were on a rail for our clothes and a hairdryer, iron and ironing board were also...

"Wonderful old pub. The staff was very friendly. I hung out at the pub for trivia night. Great food and beer and quiet rooms. Rooms are across the street from the pub so noise not a problem."

The ambience & the decor is beautiful but it was the service we received by all of the staff and the food which was the highlight of our trip. Everything we ate & drank was phenomenal & the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We will definely be back."
