It's hard to leave a mediocre review of this property as I am not sure if this is the only apartment the host rents, so keep in mind that this review is solely for the unit that we stayed at & not other units offered by the host.
Pros:
-Quiet and safe neighborhood
-Beautiful playground across our unit
-Price
-Host/delegate was friendly despite the miscommunication over the phone but would have been nice if they reviewed their email instructions sent to renters to avoid this.
-Very close drive to downtown Ottawa and Gatineau National Park
Cons:
-Communication with host/delegate - email told us to call when 5 mins away so they can meet us at the apartment to give keys, so we did. Waited 15 mins outside. Called again just to be told that they thought we said that we would call when we got there.
-Upstairs unit's kid kept running around till past midnight making for difficult sleep (we also have a little one so we tried to be understanding).
-Floor was not visibly dirty but could use a wash based on the state of our socks after walking around.
