"Room, and amenities were great. One of the most comprehensive breakfast I've had at a hotel - very impressed. Only non-postive thing I would say is that the elevator is a little small."

"I had a wonderful stay at Sonder Rideau. The one-bedroom apartment was clean and tidy. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. The only downside was the air conditioning/heating unit, which was a bit too loud- even on the lowest fan setting- so I had to turn it off at times. That said, the reception staff were kind and friendly, and the location was excellent- just a 10-15 minute walk to the mall and nearby restaurants/cafes. The shower had consistently hot water, which was great. Access to the unit was simple using a code or digital keypad. I also appreciated the option to check in and out early for a small fee through the app. Overall, a great experience!"

"Honestly the best! I checked out of the dark and dated and very overpriced Fairmont Chateau Laurier and checked in the the Lird Elgin. I cannot recommend highly enough. This hotel has it all! Friendly and such helpful staff, clean, quiet modern rooms. Great walkable location. 5⭐️s!!! If you are visiting Ottawa.. this is the hotel to stay at! I will be back to Ottawa and 💯 will be booking my stays here at Lord Elgin. "
