"Loved our stay! We had the private onsen which was amazing but the public ones are great too! Our dinner was a lovely event and the beers and ice cream was a great touch. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend! It’s not far away from Kyoto, about 20min or so on the train. "

"There are many reviews saying how wonderful this hotel is - the public onsen (I have tattoos so couldn’t use it), the creative dinners of traditional Japanese cuisine, and the peaceful relaxation. For me, the best parts were the lovely people working there, and the hot tub on the balcony of our room. The property has public hot bath facilities for gents and ladies in the lobby floor to use. The room is quite good and provide guest with traditional futon sleep and room with sliding door.
