"We spent our Christmas days in the thoughtfully styled bach of Martin and Sharon. It was very relaxing as it is just out of town. The little walk in the lush bush on the property made for a nice after-lunch stroll. An evening swim in the heated pool made it feel even more holiday like. We hadn't realised there was not stove, so cooking was the only small challenge. We had a recharging few days in Otaki and would definitely recommend a stay! "

"I could not be happier with my month staying at Joy’s unit/bach. Having a private patio with sun and shade and a lemon tree, is a memory I’ll treasure once back in the UK!The bed was really good, kitchen facilities well thought out, and the shower room perfect. Joy was to hand if I needed anything, and my little home was serviced weekly. "

"For a couple in their 70s/80s it was a journey back. The decor was quirky & familiar. The back verandah was a gem catching all day sun. The perfect place for a glass of wine. Amenities were perfectly adequate & spotlessly clean. I’d hate to have to do the dusting though. Chitra checked in to make sure everything was ok - a good communicator. "
