"It’s a quirky hotel. You love it or you don’t. We happened to love it. It’s need some updating, but without loosing any of its character. Excellent location. Dogs allowed. Good traditional breakfast, nothing fancy, but enough. Dinner options more sophisticated. Game room, cinema room, bar, outstanding views… Great stay for anytime of the year. Lots of regular customers. I give one star less because of some musty smell of the room and not fully functional bathroom sink. However this wouldn’t stop...

"We had a lovely stay at the Crown Hotel and every member of staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was a little tired but still nice, and the bathroom floor could have done with a good clean, but the rest of the bathroom was spotless. "An interesting project. Hotel very good but Dinner Menu very limited. However this resulted in finding two excellent restaurants! Not easy to find shops in Poundbury as obviously any hoardings are not allowed."
