Find Historic Hotels in Oslo - Southern Norway

"Arrived in oslo with paid reservation at thon panorama (even had a confirmation the day before) only to get there and find a sign in front saying closed for refurbishing and that booked guests should call this number. I had to turn on roaming and international calling and spend 30 min on hold to be told my hotel was moved across town to a different hotel. It wasn’t walkable so I went into a different hotel and they graciously called me a taxi ($40). I missed my pre booked sauna for 3 reservation...

"The bathroom lacked a safety rail in the shower, which I consider dangerous because I am over 70 years old. In addition, the electric water heater had a cord which was so short that it could not reach the electrical outlet in the kitchen area. I had to call the desk and ask for an extension cord, in general, there were be no not enough electrical outlets in the room. on the positive side, I thought the room was very beautiful and spacious. "The unit was fine (only a washing machine and no dryer) which is tough when choosing the location specifically for laundry during a 2 week trip. Very disappointed with the communication and last minute change they forced us to make in location. Was with a group of 35 people and booked 9 months in advance to be at the same location as my in laws. Received confirmation the day before that we were all set and then later that day notified we were being moved blocks away. Not explanation other...
