"We booked this property for Halloween, wanted to escape from Chicago for a few days. The place is incredible, the best so far that I ever booked. Thank you very much for everything!! P. S. The price was the best for such a gorgeous place!!"

"This was a cozy place to spend Thanksgiving weekend after visiting family in Rockford. I was craving the crackle and pop of a wood burning fireplace and arrived with plenty of firewood. The fireplace is GAS which was a surprise. Besides that minor let down it was a comfortable weekend and the river is beautiful. Great shower, good kitchen. It was frigid during our stay so we didn't get to take of advantage of the parks in the area, but there are plenty of options for outdoor activities nearby....

"Love the house"

"Its a quiet neighborhood for the most part (some shooting activities nearby) Home is clean, has most of everything you need for a long stay, and pretty easy to find even if you miss the first turn! "

"We came to town for the weekend to visit family. The place was clean and neat. Great location to local businesses. Great communication with host, I will stay here next time in town. "

Tower fan available - great for those that prefer white noise when sleeping - like us. New room darkening curtains in living room and bedrooms. Washer and dryer so convenient for those...
