"We were overwhelmed. We knew from photos it would be a mas and not a modern tickytacky but seeing those stones sweeping up to the deep blue sky, an early cicada softly chugging away and is that he POOL!!!! M. Franck shot out of his nearby house to welcome us and everything was ready to hand. We had been in a nearby village before so much of our stay was being reacquainted with the mouthwatering Savoillan croissants and checking out beloved views and villages like Brantes. "We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and we all had such a great time using the amazing kitchen and eating eating outside. The owner and lady who met us on arrival were very kind and helpful. The only downside was some very grumpy neighbours who were very unreasonable about the kids making noise in the pool. This did make us have to constantly worry about the kids being in the pool and limiting their time in there which isn’t great I’m 40degree heat."

"This would be great for a get away from it all break. But it was too remote for us, so we ended up going to Cannes for 3 days! House was nice, couple of gripes Bedroom door did not close which was awkward as we stayed with friends. Lots of wasps so stung a few times but it’s the edge of a forest. Good points Nice outside area, good pool, well equipped kitchen and great little BBQ. About 10 mins in a car from shops and restaurants. Hotel was rarely open and hotel owner only spoke French so...
