"The chalets are nice and well equipped but suffer from thin walls and lots of road noise, with the chalet shaking when large lorries went past. The complementary ear plugs were welcome but not really ideal - especially as they did nothing to stop the walls shaking. There were also lots of squashed mosquitos and other insects against the walls and ceiling (particularly in the bathroom) which made the chalet feel a bit grubby. "

"We enjoyed the lodge, however, I would have liked a bed frame, not just the mattress on the floor, it was too low for me. They really need to invest in beds for their mattresses. But the room was clean and the bathroom was good size and the staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"Excellent choice for anglers or ramblers. Nice accommodation, hot tub soaking and sitting by a fire at night were great. Hosts are very knowledgeable about the area and make an enjoyable stay."
