"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"It was my daughter’s first time in a caravan and she is hooked! Communication with owner was instant and always helpful and friendly. The outdoor carpeted area is lovely and spacious and we enjoyed our breakfast looking over the ocean. Highly recommend "

"Our group enjoyed a comfortable stay. We had 2 families staying and the house was great for what we needed. Host was excellent to communicate with. We had a small issue with the shower but the host was very responsive and available for anything we needed."

"The perfect place for a young family. The township is a couple of feet away and across the road is the beach with an inlet that is safe for the kids to play. The owners have a great selection of beach toys to use. We loved our stay here."

"Perfect location at Waihi and Merryn was a wonderful host. We were three families of 4 with children 5-8 years old and this suited us down to the ground. Backwards and forwards from the beach all day, great deck to spend the evenings on and plenty of space for the kids to run around. If you’re into a great kiwi bach holiday then this can’t be faulted. "Very spacious property that is very clean and tidy on arrival that will suit all type’s of needs "

"The Bach is just a short stroll to the beach and right where the surf lifeguards are patrolling so perfect for swimming. Handy to local shops and cafes. Facilities in the bach are good and the lawn around the house was great for our dog. We took a small piece of netting to plug the gap between the fence and the gate as our dog is small. Easy access to the key and nice followup before and after check-in. Thanks for a great stay at Waihi Beach."

"We had an amazing stay! The host was incredibly responsive and provided everything we needed, including shampoo, conditioner, cutlery, and condiments, which made us feel right at home. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.The location is fantastic—just two streets away from Papamoa Beach, making it super convenient for beach trips. We especially appreciated the excellent facilities for washing and cleaning our car after spending time at the beach. Overall, it was a perfect getaway...

"It is a well kept, clean and comfortable property. Really enjoyed our stay. The basics like tea, kitchen towel etc were running out though. So that could have been better provided for. "

"It was okay, for the time we spent at the house, the double bed, wasn't very comfortable it was extremely soft, ended up sleeping on a bunk bed, and there was no toilet spray provided but other than that it was okay Thanks "
