"Gaia is across the river from Porto; a short ride to downtown but away from the throngs of tourists. The beach and beach restaurants are a five minute walk from the house. Joaquim was a wonderful host and the accommodations felt like a five star hotel. we would definitely stay here again."

"Large property with extensive gardens, providing everything you could want on holiday. Content to sit by the window and watch the boats going up and down the river, very relaxing. "What a wonderful stay we had! We had a most amazing week in this newly built house, where all our stresses melted away. The house is as described, comfortable furniture (the double bed was so comfortable, we slept very well!) and we had everything we needed. "Beautiful apartment, though some issues with check-in as we arrived late and found the apartment, but check-in place is 2 blocks away. There have been some similar reviews indicating check-in confusion, but we still fell into the same hole. I believe the real issue is the apartment still use the old style locks, both for the main door and apartment door.
