"The Supernova was amazing! Loved the staff because they were so wonderful, friendly, professional, and very helpful. I enjoyed my time there and would recommend it highly if you are interested in spending time in Porto. "Very basic accommodations. The trade off is the cheap price and excellent location for shopping, cafes, restaurants, and Selina next door. It was nice that they included towels (many hostels charge a rental fee), but they were threadbare. The kitchen has no stove, only a microwave. And no luggage storage when you checkout (have to pay 2,50 per bag at their partner storage site next door). The hostel felt dark and damp. "Hostel staff is friendly. Super location near metro stops Trindade. There have separate man and female toilets, showers also. Bed is comfortable and curtains make privacy. cleaning is very well i love to staying in this hostel. I will come again ❤❤"

"We had a private room with shared bathroom in the Rivoli Cinema Hostel for 3 nights. It is in walking distance to most of the sights, tours and supermarkets. The kitchen was well equiped, the shared bathrooms were clean and our room was comfortable. It is a bit noisy with the traffic, but it is to be expected on this location.The staff was fun and very helpful. The cinema theme is everywhere, in all the small details! Great home base in Porto!"

"In general a good hostel. Staff friendly, nice kitchen etc. Unfortunately rooms are poorly spundproofed - you could heard almost everything. Also there was no closet or even a coat rack. Breakfast very basic - without any meat. "

"Great hostel, owner is super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Place is just a 10 minute walk to the main area of Gaia and Porto, so its quiet, but also convenient. I got a private room in this hostel, but I'm sure a dorm room would've been fine. Free breakfast every morning and owner offers recommendations or engaging conversations about Portugal and Porto. They did my laundry for 10 euros too, which was great. "

"7 minute walk from the train station, sort of midpoint between the station and the canal area, right by the shopping mall. Which makes this location walkable. Plenty of bars, cafes and eateries near by although I was there on Christmas eve and lest things were shutting down I got a takeout from the food court in the mall. "This property has been frailly recently updated and the beds, kitchenette and bathroom in our unit were good. What was a big disappointment was the attitude of the staff--starting with an incompetent and surly check-in by the hotel's bartender -- we had paid for a third person and bed but he tried to charge us again for that extra. "Reservation for 3 A lovely new hotel. It's just 10 minutes away from Bolhao Market and other major shopping, sightseeing area i.e. churches. It's a small boutique hotel no complain with the size and the room but there is no lobby area. Since we arrived early very tired and check in time is late in the afternoon, there is not much room area to wait inside the hotel especially on rainy day of February except for the couch by the front desk. The reception suggest we go to the backyard patio but there is no cover or heat and it was cold and rainy season. If there was a couch in the library room we would have stay there instead of waiting by the front desk. We just waited patiently for a room to be available since the hotel is fully booked. The front desk was kind enough to checked us in as soon a room was prepared and that was a blessing. We did not encounter any issue with all the staff during our stay and everyone we encounter are pleasant and accommodating. If you prefer to stay away from the crowded area this is a good place to rest and very safe area. The breakfast and pizza was good. The breakfast area is small and it's always busy in the morning we only ate there one time and the food are all fresh. The backyard patio will be useful during spring and summer season. "
