"My husband and I stayed for a week in Mike’s lovely villa. It’s furnished beautifully with views of the mountains. It had a complete kitchen for cooking meals and has a lovely patio. The drawbacks we found were the front door lock was tricky to get into the villa but Mike was available to walk us through the problem. The HVAC system was also noisy when it ran. Starr Pass is a beautiful and quiet area but it’s a bit removed from restaurants and golf. There is a golf course in Starr Pass which is a good one, but the other courses are a considerable drive. There are plenty of hiking trails nearby. "

"Great location near a nice trailhead for hiking through the Saguaros. Close to downtown Tucson and great restaurants. Excellent golf course and near Saguaro National Park. We've stayed here several times. "

"Beautiful house and location... perfectly situated just 8 miles from Old Tucson where we had a mountain bike race. Everything was perfect! Marina reached out to us before we arrived and allowed us to check in a little early. The place is very picturesque ... back yard was super relaxing. ONLY wish we had more time there to enjoy it. They had fire logs we wish we would have used, but with the race we spent most of our time eating or sleeping. Thanks again for a great stay."

"The house is exactly as pictured. The furniture is new and comfortable. The mattresses on the beds are firm and my back felt better than it does at home. There were plenty of linens and pillows. The two walk-in showers were most welcome as we are all seniors. The pool is not heated and was too cold for swimming, however, there is a waterfall feature that came on and turned off automatically every day. It is an 8 mile drive to restaurants and stores but that took little time. The subdivision is well kept and quiet."

"This house is incredible! Twinkling city lights as seen from the hot tub, cactus views in the daytime, quiet gated neighborhood filled with birds and wildlife. Chirping birds in the morning, sunrise on the deck, alpenglow at night on surrounding mountains. Friendly neighbors and safe (and hilly) streets to walk. Fancy fresh-grind by-the-cup coffeemaker, freshly filled hot tub, immaculate pool. The owner, Ron, is perfectly responsive, delightful, friendly, and uber helpful. He gave us great restaurant recommendations and answered every question almost immediately. He's a foodie so the kitchen supplies are high end and all work well. Great knives, nice cutting boards, fancy pots and pans, fun cookbooks, granite countertops! Provided coffee and tea of many varieties and an electric kettle. Double ovens with electric panels make cooking easy. Enormous stainless gas range and easy to use outdoor grill and blue glass gas fire pit with surrounding table. When nighttime comes around, there are soft duvets covered with crisp white sheets, plenty of fluffy towels, quiet clothes washer and dryer and dishwasher. Cozy living room with impressive granite (!) fireplace, comfy sectional couch for teens and family to cuddle and watch movies and sports on the huge TV, plus plenty of games and puzzles for family laughs. I could never have imagined such a wonderful place for my family to stay over Christmas. We made so many amazing memories that will live in my heart forever! Thank you Ron!!!"
