"Good value hotel in a great location near the 22 bus stops to and from the airport. On the edge of the old town so within walking distance of all the attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful, I paid 16 euros to extend check out from 12 to 3pm and there’s a room that you can store your luggage in. Although it’s a little dated this is a lovely clean and safe hotel. As a solo female traveller I would definitely recommend it "

I called the number posted on the door; they said they tried to contact me, but that’s a lie, obviously— I wouldn’t have shown up there if they had. The very rude woman tried to get me to stay in a nearby hotel, but I went there to take a look, and it was filthy. "The Metropole is a beautifully renovated old hotel. We loved our stay here. It was convenient and the staff were so helpful and kind. Our room was well appointed with a huge king size bed! We certainly will return and highly recommend a stay here to anyone! Thank you to the staff for a magnificent stay!"
