"A lovely night stay - I was impressed with the spacious room I was allocated and the quality of the furniture and fittings. The room was lovely and warm. Breakfast menu was fantastic and a very good choice of items provided. The only downside was trying to find it as the postcode took me to a housing estate and I got very lost!"

"Property a bit tired looking however, spotlessly clean and staff where friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with everything we needed although the lighting was rather dim. Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. We ate evening meal in the pub, lovely food at reasonable price with varied menu. We also had breakfast, again, lovely food and a good choice. We would stay here again. "

We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped. "We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...
