"This lovely place exceeded our expectations. Not only was it impeccably clean, the quality of the linens and furnishings really made the difference, making this stay feel like a real treat. The hosts are wonderful in every way. This place is a real gem, quiet and peaceful while being right in the heart of the delightful beachside community. Very peaceful. Endless places to enjoy a good coffee or a meal. This will be our top place to stay when we are in Auckland. Loved it."

It's not this property's fault that we had just stayed a week in Melbourne in a comparably priced, yet more comfortable apartment. The location is fine as Auckland is a small, walkable city. "Great property with lovely view. Could sit on the lounge and watch the lights on the harbour bridge. Well equipped. One of the beds was terrible. Hardest bed I’ve ever slept on. Realised after 3 bad nights sleep that the bed had been made with the mattress upside down. The soft side was facing down. Left a note for the cleaners to turn it for the next guests benefit."
