"Level of hospitality here is the best! Although we have booked on the same day and arrived late, staff welcomed us and prepared amazing dinner taking into consideration our food restrictions. (vegan/ vegetarian friendly) It's super quiet, we had a great sleep. The view from the window is amazing with nature and lake around. We happened to arrive at the season when the plants at the lake turn red, very beautiful. The dinner was very delicious, they also have a selection of local craft beers you can add to your meal for extra price."

"I stayed in a 'comfort twin' room for 4 nights and really liked this hotel. The room was a good size and I had a lovely view of the mountains to the north. It's probably been a while since this hotel has been refurbished but the public areas were comfortable. There are a number of vending machines, an ice machine and you can get free hot drinks from a machine in the lobby. The staff were friendly and arranged the forwarding of my luggage with Yamato. Breakfast was a self service buffet with a reasonable selection of hot and cold dishes, including some pastries. It's the first time that I've stayed anywhere that has a machine that dispenses rice. I travelled by public transport and the hotel is very conveniently located opposite the train station and just round the corner from the bus station. On the corner opposite the hotel is a seicomart (Hokkaido chain of combini like 7Eleven and Lawsons). I'd very happily stay here again if I return to Shari."

"Excellent location. Ample free parking. Excellent use of space in the rooms. Excellent air conditioning. Excellent laundry facilities. Adequate breakfast. The duvet on my bed was stained, though. "

"Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities are great especially the lounges are very spacious. There are plenty of spaces in the hotel for relaxation. There are even snacks, desserts and drinks, both cold and hot including alcohol provided in the lounge for guests’ consumption. And each guest is entitled to a scoop of ice-cream per day."

"Budget friendly accommodation directly opposite the Abashiri train station. Plenty of dining options close by or in the hotel Monday to Friday. We had no issues with parking, there were plenty of spots available. The reception is on the first floor (use elevator to get there). Western breakfast options were limited but we managed. Staff were all friendly and the room was spotless albeit a bit dated but all in working order. The air-conditioning only goes to 20 degrees so may not suit those that like a really cool room to sleep in but you could open the window. "
