Overall I enjoyed my 2 nights here. Pluses - easy parking on site, free breakfast ok with hot and cold dishes, Japanese and western but no tea available.
Room ok just a bit dark. Wifi variable.
Laundry facilities good.
First night I was on 3F which I think was above the public bath and so noisy with machinery noises I hardly slept. I asked to be moved to a higher floor and the gentleman took care of it all and I slept well the next night on 8F. In the morning of course there were guest wake up alarms going off at 530&630 am which I could hear but that is not really the hotel's fault as it happens everywhere.Staff were helpful and using translation apps worked fine.
Budget friendly accommodation directly opposite the Abashiri train station. Plenty of dining options close by or in the hotel Monday to Friday. We had no issues with parking, there were plenty of spots available. The reception is on the first floor (use elevator to get there). Western breakfast options were limited but we managed. Staff were all friendly and the room was spotless albeit a bit dated but all in working order. The air-conditioning only goes to 20 degrees so may not suit those that like a really cool room to sleep in but you could open the window.
Position was great directly across from the railway station. Check in ok little English spoken but it seems this is normal. Room size was ok , bathroom small. Beds firm needed to ask for another pillow this was no trouble. Breakfast was typical Japanese, then what they were was anyone’s guess no English anywhere. No cereals or fruit. It is also about a 20 min walk to town centre
Very convenient hotel next to the JR train station. Walking distance to the Aurora terminal (if you’re dressed for the weather). The public bath was an added bonus in the winter.
right across the street from the jr station and the bus which will bring you to most sites in the city, the hotel has an authentic public bath right off the reception area (men only). excellent breakfast. virtually no english spoken. tourist office in station has english-speaking personnel
We had nice view room at top floor, from river to ocean, ever the "hat rock"!
This hotel maybe a little out dated, but clean room, nice size room (in Japan), nice big bath, and very easy to get to train and bus. And very simply breakfast.
Pleasant 3 days there. Felt like a cosy motel with tiny communal hot baths which faced the Abashiri train station and Lawson convenience store. 24hr Sukiya beef bowl restaurant 5mins' walk away and Kanigen sushi about 7mins' walk. Road station for Aurora drift ice cruise departures is also an easy bus ride away from the bus stop directly across the street!
The hotel staff doesn't know how to read English. We have paid the room in advance however ask us to pay again as he said we do not pay the room. This the only hotel where we travel around asks us to pay our paid room again as the receptionist is illiterate in English.
It is right across the road to the JR station (and bus terminal)at a very convenient location. There is onsen in the hotel you can use until late or early in the morning. My package comes with standard Japanese buffet breakfast. The room and facilities are in good condition and clean. Another plus point is there was computer and printer that I could use to do last minute printing.

very close too jr station
overall nice, Lawson is infront of the hotel. nearby a lot of restaurant
Great location, right across from the train station. Nice if you're traveling by train. Parking is scare and you may need to park in a lot five minutes walk from the hotel. room was clean
Ideal location for train travellers being straight across the road from the station. Rooms a tad small but who cares when you are only staying for a night or two and the price is right and the rooms are clean.
Excellent location and staff. Just opposite to the JR station. Facilities include bath house which is a plus.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Conveniently located no fuss budget hotel.
For the price we paid, it was a decent place to stay in Abashiri. Breakfast was included which was adequate and ample. Hauling luggage through the snow in late winter isn't very pleasant, so walking across the street to the hotel was a welcome reprieve.
