"We had a bit of a hiccup on our arrival. We contacted host whom replied quickly and solved the problem immediately. We loved our stay near Lake Okareka. We travelled into Rotarua to enjoy hot springs and mud baths. Go to Redwood Butchery in Rotarua - delicious lamb cutlets and scotch fillet!!! The bath was delightful on the deck - we are used to starry skies but this was the most stars ive ever seen. Enjoyed listening to the birds, watching the night sky - shooting stars and moving satellite...

"We had a wonderful time sitting outside watching the birds, People, fishermen and dogs. Such a beautiful location with a walkway around the lake that you could easier walk to the small downtown. Grocery, drugstore, restaurants were within walking distance. Everyone was friendly. The kitchen was stocked for breakfast and had everything you would need to cook. It was great to be able to wash your clothes and put the drying rack outside. Close to so many things that it was the perfect place...
