"We absolutely loved our stay at this sweet spot. It was cozy and comfortable and well-stocked. We were able to relax and enjoy our time together as a family. We had everything we need and were close to lots of places. Parking and arrival were easy. On-site laundry was a bonus. Thanks so much!"

"We had a great stay in this house. Beautiful, clean and comfy beds (we like our beds a bit firm). We went on a few walks and the neighborhood was perfect. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Set just outside of Des Moines it is peaceful and pleasant in every way. The place is spotless, very nice and had everything we needed to fully enjoy ourselves. Used the hot tub several times and even had a fire outside in a fire pit. You can drive to all the hot spots in the city of Des Moines and then just a short drive to get back to the peaceful country side. The owners went above and beyond to make this trip absolutely perfect. I will be booking again no doubt. "

"It was great had everything we needed "

"We rented this house as a family get together for my son’s birthday. Worked out perfectly. The level just below the kitchen area as an air hockey machine which the kids loved and was a great area for all of us to gather and watch him open presents. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone."

"I had a work trip and decided this place looked perfect to stay, and it was! Absolutely spotless and so cute! I was blown away by the hosts attentiveness, hospitality, and thoughtfulness! Every where I looked was a little treat and gesture of kindness! I felt so welcome and the vibes are so comfy and cozy! I Would also reccomend for families aswell! Will be staying again!:) 11/10"

"Fantastic space for entertainment! Immacculate. Well-stocked kitchen with good amenities. Used this space for a no-host Holiday, and it worked perfectly, allowing family members from out of state a homey place to stay, without pressuring the Ames residents to host at their house. Easy access to restaurants, groceries, gas, and shopping. 10/10 would recommend!""

The neighborhood, though not centrally located for university access, was close to downtown and south Duff businesses plus convenience stores and several restaurants. The neighborhood was extremely quiet. It suited my needs perfectly."

"Great location, very quaint and the hosts went out of their way to make it feel like a home. There were seasonal decorations everywhere as well as little chocolate gift baskets throughout the home. We saw deer right out the family room window every morning. Very comfortable and cozy. "

"This was a great place for a family gathering to see student at ISU and go to 7 Oaks for skiing. Ended up being 8 adults, 1 child. We all fit. The extra table and chairs meant we could all sit down for a family dinner. We had fun watching the big tv downstairs. They had everything we needed for a fun get together. "
