We were two couples traveling together and the apartment worked out well for us. The panoramic views over the old town and then the mountains beyond are breathtaking! The location is excellent for a visit to Sulmona, minutes away from sights, shops and restaurants. "

"The property was perfect. There were tons of breads, muffins, crackers for breakfast or snacks. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for us. Marta is an absolute gem host! We were using the remote incorrectly for the gate and she had someone there immediately. He was wonderful too! Thank goodness for Google Translate! I would definitely stay here again. Penne is a beautiful town and we enjoyed the areas around too."

"The host ended up being extremely kind but we never received any communication or confirmation from the host after booking. Our rental was paid in full at the time of booking and we received confirmation from VRBO about our upcoming stay (address, etc) but no response from our host when I sent her a couple different messages. The day we arrived, we tried calling the host and got no answer but we randomly ran into her on the street near the rental. She apologized and said she was having issues...
