Great outdoor areas with a lovely large balcony with fantastic views and a rear garden with a gas BBQ and lovely peaceful dining area. Ofena is a typical, unspoilt Italian village with friendly locals and a super friendly village dog. We immediately felt relaxed, despite probably being the only tourists there. It has great views of the valley and is near Sulmona and just an hour from the beaches in Pescara. There is plenty of space and plenty of beds. Having three bathrooms was great. "This property was absolutely perfect. We rented all 3 units for a large family celebration and I would t change a single thing if we were to do it all over again. Piero and Letizia are just lovely, thought of everything we would need and were so responsive with thoughts and ideas on the the local area - which is heaven by the way. You’ll need a car but from there everything is easy to reach and delightful. If I could give 6 stars I would... somehow the pictures don’t do these properties justice...

"Had a wonderful stay in this delightful house with fantastic mountain views. The house is nestled into a small hamlet and the owners have a massage studio right next door! I have to say my massage with Isabel was one of the best massages I have ever had! Sheer bliss! They also produce organic olive oil which was fascinating to learn about (and delicious!) "A friend and I stayed in this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom flat for a couple of weeks. It is very clean and has everything needed for light cooking. During the day, the neighborhood is quiet but comes alive in the evenings when everyone is outside for the passegiata. There are a number of bars to enjoy for your morning coffee or aperitivo in the evenings. A local favorite shop just around the corner, Antichi Sapori, has quality prosciutto, salume and cheeses.
