"The cottage was very well maintained and clean, the kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could need for cooking/bbqing. The deck outside was massive and we thought the pictures in the listing actually undersold how nice the it was. There were numerous Muskoka and other comfortable lounge chairs, multiple large sun umbrellas and a shaded area under a large tree with a hammock. "Our family (2 daughters, 3 grandsons 8-23) had a super week on Varty Lake. The Cottage is very comfortable and the two rooms were good for young & older. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of supplies, towels etc. Having the canoe, kayak, paddleboat, two paddle boards was amazing and all were used and enjoyed. Biking along the roads & Cataraqui trail was great. Swimming was good. Games room was enjoyed by the younger boys/young men. Mo was excellent in communicating with us, before and during our stay....
