"It was located perfectly, for me I don’t like to be in the city so, finding a hotel that is closed to trains, bus, subways, streetcar, etc is importance for me and this one was! A 20minute ride on the train to Venice (surprisingly trains were on time for most of the time). So if you are like me then this is a great place! "

Shuttle pick-up from Marco olo airport was super easy and we continued on to skiing in the Dolomites the next morning, so it was a perfect base for us. Not sure how easy it is to get to Venice, apparently there's a bus stop right there and it takes 30 min to Piazzale Roma, though unless you're really on a strict budget - nothing beats strolling the sestieri at night. :)"

"Loved the Hotel Continental location near the train station and town center, and all staff members were professional, helpful, and welcoming. The room was a bit smaller than I am used to, but the bed was comfortable and furnishings adequate, and I was especially rateful to be assigned a room with a bathtub, as requested upon check-in. The hotel's daily breakfast buffet was also excellent and a great way to start each day. The only 'adverse' comment I have is that furnishings were a bit "worn" and could use some updating (even painting wooden furniture pieces in bright unexpected 'Italian' colors would be a cheerful and inexpensive way to upgrade each room), and the lobby was in the process of restoration, so that area did not look good either. But no matter the property's somewhat "run down" appearance at present (I was told that the lobby would be impressive once restored!), it was clean and comfortable, and I would definitely book there again!"
