"We had a wonderful stay at the gite for over 2 weeks. It was the perfect place to visit the ehole of west Normandy includung Bayeux. It is close to the sea and to the village of Urville, where the local supermarket Utile had everyting you need and has great opening hours. The gite itself is cosy and the fact that it is near the castke with great gardens is an absolute plus. The interior is a bit outdated on some occasions an could do with some repairs, but our stay was very much ok. If i visit...

"We stayed in St Mere Eglise for 3 + weeks and really enjoyed the house. It is a very gracious home with everything you might need and feels more like you are staying at a friend's home than a rental. Having two full bathrooms (one on each floor) was a nice luxury and would be great for two couples or a larger group. "Great spot to stay if touring Normandy. Was nice to cook in the room vs eating out again. Close stroll to the harbor area, restaurants and grocery store. Really comfortable bed. I would stay again."
