"We had a wonderful stay at the gite for over 2 weeks. It was the perfect place to visit the ehole of west Normandy includung Bayeux. It is close to the sea and to the village of Urville, where the local supermarket Utile had everyting you need and has great opening hours. The gite itself is cosy and the fact that it is near the castke with great gardens is an absolute plus. The interior is a bit outdated on some occasions an could do with some repairs, but our stay was very much ok. If i visit...

Situated in a most beautiful place, the house had everything needed for a comfortable stay, nicely furnished to a very high standard, just a short drive from Cherbourg which was so convenient, in fact my journey from my home to the house was just 1.5 hours driving, not including the very pleasant 4 hour crossing with Brittany Ferries. "We stayed in St Mere Eglise for 3 + weeks and really enjoyed the house. It is a very gracious home with everything you might need and feels more like you are staying at a friend's home than a rental. Having two full bathrooms (one on each floor) was a nice luxury and would be great for two couples or a larger group. The home is on a nice street with other homes around and is close to the main town as well as a good grocery store on the outskirts. Excellent access to the road which will take you...

Très calme et assez particulier mais vraiment agréable pour qui se sent capable de passer sur les quelques détails un peu vieillisants . "Great spot to stay if touring Normandy. Was nice to cook in the room vs eating out again. Close stroll to the harbor area, restaurants and grocery store. Really comfortable bed. I would stay again."
