"We stayed here for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The property had all that we needed and was perfectly located for quick nips to the local beach, just a smal drive from the Normandy beaches and Bayeaux and plenty of beautiful scenery. The house was peaceful and spacious with a great garden for the children to play in. Many evenings spent in the garden with a glass of wine! Thanks"

"A tidy modern house in a quiet village, overlooking a wild area with birds, owls, mammals and reeds. Enough services in the village such as boulangerie, bar and charcuterie to keep you going. 2 mins to a lovely beach with miles of walking. Would recommend if you are looking to explore the area."

"We loved the view and the local bakery. Going to bed at night and hearing the ocean breaking just outside the windows. Everyone else can have Paris and it’s crowds, give me Beautiful Cherbourg and it’s charming people."

"Lovely well appointed house exactly as described on the website. Owner responds quickly to communications and is helpful and welcoming. Everything you need is here and we had a wonderful time. My only slight negative comments would be that the 4 single beds are really suitable for children rather than adults and that one of the electric radiators in the living room doesn’t appear to be working which would make the room hard to heat in the the depths of winter if needed. Comfortable and clean,nothing fancy which is exactly what we need. Location just few mins from the beach is great. Also excellent location for loads of day trips and for D Day beaches. Recommended. "The property is well located in St Vaast La Hougue. Older property that is well loved. Gorgeous backyard and garden that is inviting to stay and relax. Walk into town to a fantastic bakery, restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed out stay there. Jaques and Marie are wonderfully responsive hosts."
