"I love this hotel because it is quite unusual with lots of artefacts and antiques to look at. It is not a luxury hotel it is a budget hotel. I found my stay very very comfortable and it’s the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I will definitely be staying here again if I’m in the area. I was able to get an Uber to the city centre for £6. "We came to Shrewsbury to travel by train to Cardiff to go to see a rugby match. The Holiday Express was a perfect location. The staff were friendly, the bar and small restaurant were adequate - we had a light evening meal which was good. We stayed 2 nights, the room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfasts were absolutely superb - the best we have had in any hotel. It was also very quiet and safe to leave our car. "
