"The Aybek is a fairly new hotel only opened for a year everything is in beautiful shape. The location is great on a little side street so very quiet. Our room was on the side facing the river and ocean got to watch the fishermen come and go. The location is very good to walk down the main pedestrian street to the harbour where you can find lots of good restaurants The staff at the Aybek are super nice and friendly and will help you any way they can. This place is a little gem highly recommended...

"A very beautiful apartment. Very clean, comfortable, owners were amazing. Very close to everything downtown and the warf shopping was about 4 blocks walking distance. If I was traveling to Canakkale again. This is where I would stay again. Many restaurants are close by. The Turkish restaurants are a must try. I have always found friendly staff and excellent meals in turkey. About 5 blocks is the Trojan Horse in the center area of downtown to view. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Des Etrangers - a small unique boutique hotel. The staff are excellent - friendly, helpful, and personable. The daily breakfast is superb. The hotel is located amongst a vibrant restaurant/bar/ shopping area and within walking distance to the local ferry and attractions. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel for a stay. Noise from other venues in the evenings can be an issue but it did not concern us. "
