"Parking for Monteverde cloud forest is right in front of the hotel. Hotel is deep inside with no convenience stores in walkable distance. Hotels.com had incorrect location listed which made us go in circles to find the place. We used yoga room for yoga. They have kitchen. Road the hotel is terrible with many potholes. Driving in rain was terrible experience specifically when you are coming for the first time and have incorrect directions. "

"I wasn’t expecting much, needed a room to crash. But did not expect the room to be musty, sheets/pillow cases were musty and the pillows had black mould. We had to cut our stay down to one night due to these conditions. Pros. The breakfast was good with fresh cut fruit, granola, scrambled eggs w toast and coffee. Great way to start the day. "Nice two bedroom studio apartment about 200 meters from main hostel building. Managers were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Only slight negative, really more of a surprise, was that they didn't accept payment via credit card."

"Loved this backpackers! Super cool rooms, and the view is excellent looking straight at the Arenal volcano! Awesome pool and bar right on property and downtown is so walkable from the front of the property! "

"Great hostel situated in a nice neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk from the centre including the supermarkets and bus terminal (the centre is frankly not as pleasant as the suburbs). Rooms have secure key codes, and lockers are situated in the communal kitchen which is large, clean and well equipped. Everything was good. Would recommend."

"Alexandra is an amazing host. She was very accommodating, warm and helpful. She even brought us bread and pinto gallo in the morning. LIttle Paradise is well situated and all the major sights (La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano, Monteverde) are at most an hour drive away. The property is scenic and vast, with a beautiful view of the lake. "Arenal Manoa is absolutely amazing!! The staff is fabulous, they know your name, polite, friendly. The grounds are beautiful, well kept. We stayed in the Chato Suite and it felt like our own private oasis with a breathtaking backyard space, swinging sofa, multiple sitting/laying arrangements around a fabulous pool with perfect views of the Arenal Volcano. Buffett breakfast included, sushi, pizza and restaurant on site, we ordered room service multiple times and received it quick. Spa by the river and multiple natural hot springs on the property, they added some in an adult only zone, all are surrounded and under the lush vegetation on the property and a perfect escape. We also booked RT transportation to/from hotel and 2 tours through them. Arenal Manoa staff know how to make you feel special and cater to your needs. It was a most memorable vacation and we will return! "

"I love the fact that as soon as we arrived on the property, we saw a slot! I guess there’s a family of them. The front desk staff was super friendly. Our bungalow in the jungle was secluded and awesome. You need to know that it was dated, however. A little bit like camping in the woods. It was probably the best value out there. "

Hotel Magic Mountain SPA & Conference center

"The hotel is remarkable. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly friendly the staff were to hotel guests. I felt like I was special and valued as a guest from the moment I checked in..to when I left. Smiles, friendly attitudes and genuine, likeable people who stayed at the hotel really made a difference, IMO. Next, the Welcome Drink ticket we received was a first-timer for us and we couldn’t be happier. The server who made us that drink is 10/10! I cannot remember her name, but she was kind, helpful and knew how to make an amazing fruity cocktail. From peaceful, relaxation in the hot tub to comfortable, cozy bedding, you had the perfect slumber combination. And what a treat to open your curtains and have those breathtaking views every single morning. Family, Friends, Solo Traveller visits are all welcome here. You will not regret booking with this property!"
