"Our room needed some maintenance and we assume had not been used for sometime. For example, the sliding door to the balcony screeched loudly when we opened and closed it. The bathroom looked like it had been poorly finished around the bath and sink. The shower wasn't easy to use. Otherwise we enjoyed the view from our room across the Nile, the pool area was very nice. Service for drinks and food was incredibly slow - it looked like there was only one staff member dedicated to serving everyone....

"My stay was quite fine. The hotel is very nice. The rooms are rather spare in design but seem recently refurnished in soft light sage color, white ceiling, beige tile floor, black furniture. The bathroom had new fixtures. The staff is marvelous and friendly even packing me a breakfast to take to the airport for my 7:00 a.m. flight.
