"We loved the convenience of being close to family in Bayfield. Previously we have stayed in hotels in Durango and were glad not to have to drive back and forth to Durango every day. The cabin was in such a pretty setting by the river. Although we didn’t have time to enjoy the property, we hope to return! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The host said we could bring an air mattress, so each grandchild spent a night with us also. Perfect! "

"My family of four , along with my mother and sister stayed here and had plenty of room for everyone. It was in a wonderful location that seemed secluded although it was close to town. The house was beautiful, fully stocked , and there was plenty of room for the kids to play outside. The kids even found a child’s treehouse out back. Would definitely stay here again . "

"The house was beautifully decorated and they had a Christmas tree up during our stay! This rental had plenty of paper goods, supplies, and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub every night. There were plastic sleds in the garage for the kids to use. The view was great in the living room and master bedroom."

"We all had a wonderful time. The cabin was beautiful and very relaxing. Plenty of items were already available in the kitchen for use and everything was well stocked that would be needed on a trip. Just keep in mind that there is no AC so days can be a little warm but fans were available. Overall we couldn't ask for more."

"Quaint mountain cabin overlooking the river and lights of the small mountain village. Within easy drive to town, hiking areas. An hour from Durango. Very quiet and beautiful views. Had problems with mice or would have rated higher - scratching noises at night and feces on stairs during stay. Experienced healthcare due to a riding accident and very quality care. VIP worked with us to extend our stay which was very helpful due to circumstances."

"While this house can't control the weather it did set up the perfect get away for our family on Christmas. The house is great with a well equipped kitchen and entertainment even though we normally just caught ourselves staring out the windows at the fantastic views. "This wonderfully located home is extremely well appointed for family groups. Everything works properly and the kitchen is amazingly stocked with all you might need in the way of appliances and dry staples. The fireplace has fire logs supplied. The back yard is a dream to see but we spent little time out in it because of the cold rain and snow. However the view of the mountains with snow on them from there is beautiful. Our hosts were immediately available when we had a question and very helpful....
