"We were greeted by our host who had kindly allowed us to deposit our luggage ahead of moving into the cottage. The cottage itself is cosy and well appointed with an Aga stove in the kitchen that keeps the cottage warm. It has a small but well kept garden with table and chairs for outside dining if desired. "Four adults (two couples) stayed at the cottage during the Goodwood Revival. Great location, fantastic views and wonderful amenities at the cottage. We ended each evening with ping pong and pool! The kitchen set up was easy to navigate and the access to Liphook was useful for runs to the shop or even a take out pizza from Guido's. We wish the weather had been better to allow us to take advantage of the sitting in the garden area. Susie is a great hostess! "

"Everything was perfect from start to finish. Ayla and Mike are great hosts and were so helpful with their knowledge of the area. The cottage was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. "My wife and I and another couple loved staying at Mallard Cottage. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and the laundry with a clothes dryer was really appreciated. The living area enjoyed floor to ceiling glass looking out on a sunny, relaxing garden which sloped down to the fast flowing river. It was a short walk in to the centre of the city. Hosts, David and Deepti, were welcoming and very helpful. I highly recommend this cottage to others."

"The location was perfect for long walks. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. There is plenty of space and the upstairs room, which we didn’t use, is ideal for a small family to have their own space. Plenty of hot water and the hosts were incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend, especially for a family group. We didn’t take advantage of the go karts but I could see they’d be lots of fun for children."

You get sent the entry instructions in the afternoon which is the code for the key box so no issues there. There was people staying in the other apartments but we didn't hear any noise.
