"The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It was a busy holiday weekend with a big old car show in town. This hotel is on a busy intersection so the traffic noise was an issue but no fault of the hotel. The breakfast was good and we had an excellent evening meal in the cozy dining room."

"This was a great choice for a home base in Kiruna. Although this side of town is being phased out, there is a grocery store and excellent Thai restaurant a short walk away. It was also easy for me to coordinate pick ups for my excursions from here. I was very comfortable in my cozy room, and I enjoyed the sauna as well. Thank you for a wonderful visit!"

"The hotel is very centrally located and on-site public parking is available right in front of the hotel (incl. 4 overnight electric car charging spots). Our room was spacious, quiet and clean. It made a very cosy impression as it featured a huge tiled stove that must have been used once upon a time to heat the room. In general, the hotel has a very nice atmosphere because of it's old age. "Wonderful stay. Clean, comfortable room. Restaurant was great. We particularly loved the sauna overlooking the city. Parking was a little hard to figure out - it's across the street, but takes a little to figure out. Also seems like too much light pollution in the immediate area to see the northern lights. Overall pleasant stay. "

Perfect place to stay in Abisko

"Abisko Turiststation STF is a great place to stay. It's located close to the train station and offers a variety of rooms from hotel, to hostel, to cabins. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was perfect for us. The one item I will note is that you need to ethier bring your own sheets/sleeping bag or you can rent linnens from the hotel (much like a hostel). I am glad I reached out to them before we arrived so they could inform me of this as it doesn't seem to be listed on hotels.com. Otherwise, this hotel is great, most of the activities pick up at this location. The only other item to note is that this is not in Abisko proper. So if you need to get food from a grocery store, you should bring it with you or plan to walk to the store as there are limited transportation options once you arrive. "

"Fint och modernt hotell. Väldigt sköna sängar och älskar att flera kuddar erbjuds, samt i olika storlekar. God frukost men inte överdådig men allt som jag önskade i frukostväg fanns på plats. Enda negativa (och detta var säkert en miss från städet): Det fanns kvar öppnade snacks och gammal dipp i minibaren från tidigare gäst samt att det hade väldigt hjälpsamt om det hade funnits ett skohorn tillgängligt på rummet. "
