"Stowe is firmly implanted in my brain as an amazing place to visit, and the Timberholm plays a big part of this. Just a few minutes drive outside of the town centre, it's easily accessible and yet far away enough that it feels secluded and peaceful. What a gorgeous lodge too, with all kinds of activities and a huge fireplace with roaring flames if you just want to chill. "This place is amazing! We experienced our first snowfall here, and the experience was unlike any commercial hotel. This is a perfect spot for those seeking peace and quiet. The service is outstanding, especially the breakfast. It was a fantastic stay, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Although the style is old-fashioned, don’t be deterred; it transports you to another era."

"Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Excellent breakfast! Sitting room available for guests was comfy with coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake. All very clean. Our room was small with little area for luggage. Hot/Cold water was reversed, but without my glasses on in the bathroom I couldn't read the script cap on the faucet. We ran the water for quite a while before we figured it out. Randy very knowledgeable about the area and a wealth of information on Stowe and environs. Would definitely stay here again."

"The old farmhouse is full of personality and the lake is beautiful. It was a relaxing weekend for a holiday. "

Great place for our family ski trip in stowe！

"We really enjoyed our stay! The fireplace was cozy, the spa was incredibly relaxing, and the pool was very clean. The loft room we booked was spacious and perfect for our family of four. Everything was well-maintained, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We would definitely come back again!"
