"The weekend was a family get together for us. My daughter stayed with us in our king room with a sofa bed. The mattress was horrible so she decided to just sleep on the skinny couch. I mentioned it to the front desk during check out and she made a note of it and said she would have it taken care of and thanked me for bringing it up to them. The staff here were excellent and the rooms were wonderful. It is a beautiful hotel. The restaurant is expensive though but the staff there are also very friendly and helpful. "

"We came up here to get away from the city for a few days. The Newport was just what we were looking for! It was as clean as could be. Everybody at the front desk was so nice and helpful. It had a pool and hot tub that were very busy. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Open Hearth. We had a nice relaxing weekend. Stay was comfortable- loved the snacks and drinks available to purchase after hours. We also enjoyed their local offerings and support with local food and drink items. Owners/staff very pleasant as well. Will definite stay again!"
