"We were disappointed when we arrived because the house hadn’t been heated. It was 14 degrees and we had to spend the evening in the kitchen with our coats on to keep warm. It wasn’t obvious how to change the heating so it reached 16 degrees maximum and was absolutely freezing at night. We have a 3 month old baby so I spent the night worrying he was too cold. The next day my husband did manage to fix the heating only to find out the pool wasn’t heated much to the kids disappointment. The cooking facilities were also poor for big parties with very few big pans etc. Overall I felt our short stay was tainted by these things and it wasn’t worth the money. It’s such a shame as it looked great on the listing! I was thinking about asking for a partial refund as it almost ruined my 40th and my sisters 50th celebration. For future stays I suggest the cleaners make sure the heating is on as it will be bitter in the winter for people and you will get more bad reviews"

"Couldnt fault it, Sue was great , really great choices for breakfast, really set us up for the day. It was a good location for us to travel around the area. We were booked in for 4 nights, but due to a family emergency, we had to cut our trip short. We will be back..mark & Jacki"
